Katherine Lehman has been training me for more than 7 years. I had been going to physical therapy following bilateral knee replacement surgery and had completed the healthcare allowance for recovery. I felt that I could/should be more mobile in spite of a hip replacement as well as the knees.
Katie has been working with me ever since. We started with rehabilitation exercises with some cardio and weights tossed in then progressed to more vigorous work outs. I had a second hip replaced. I returned to Katie with a pronounced limp, muscle weakness, and balance issues due, in part, to the surgeries and significant arthritis.
Over the years, Katie has adjusted, altered, tweaked, and come up with completely unique exercises to help me strengthen and improve the flexibility of my whole body. Each session is designed to be different so monotony has never been an issue.
She is upbeat and pushes me to my limits and beyond. I grumble and complain because I hate exercise but know I need it – Katie makes it fun and effective. She takes an interest in my whole wellbeing, not just my specific muscle groups. And, I have never hurt myself or sustained an injury while following her instructions.
Thanks to Katie, I walk relatively limp free, I have much better balance, the arthritis pain is less, and I have better mobility than I did 15 years ago.
